Escultor autodidacta, Luis May se torna hacia sus orígenes y plasma en sus esculturas de barro la estética maya,inspirándose de rostros que son, en sus propias palabras, “mayas clásicos y perfectos”. En esta exposición, el protagonistaes el color, el Azul Maya que el artista logra obtener con las técnicas que utilizaban los mayas del pasado, extrayendo latinta del arbusto Ch’oj y mezclándolo con resinas, frutos y minerales que le permiten crear el pigmento.
