Con las esculturas de Juan Pablo Mier y Terán entramos al jardín de la sensualidad y de la ingravidez con una facilidad desconcertante. Frente al rojo del barro o del hierro esmaltado, el espectador se confronta al choque entre formas abstractas hechas por el artista visionario y los entornos de la naturaleza. A veces el blanco tranquiliza al ojo, pero lo que atrae siempre será el bermellón.
 

Juan Pablo Mier y Terán’s sculptures are an invitation to the gardens of sensual lightness. Red clay. Red iron. As a visionary, the artist forces the visitor to find himself in-between fight and harmony, abstract forms and mother nature. And yet, suddenly a white spot tranquilize eventhough the eye seams for ever attracted by the vermilion.
