“Abiti Scultura”, como le gusta llamar a su Fashion Artwork Elena Ponzi, son piezas compuestas de fotografías plastificadas unidas por anillos metálicos, todas son piezas únicas, inspiradas de los años 30 y 50, así como de su pasión por los kimonos y los obis japoneses antiguos. Un tributo silencioso al gran maestro español de la alta costura Paco Rabanne, quien revolucionó París en los años 70, junto con sus contemporáneos André Courrèges e Yves Saint-Laurent.La Cúpula Mérida presentó su primer Fashion Artwork, arte para descubrir y para ponerse. Es una fusión de moda y fotografía, y de su influencia recíproca.
«Abiti Scultura”, what Elena Ponzi calls her Fashion Artwork, are pieces made up of plasticized photographs bound by metallic rings, all unique pieces, inspired by the 30’s and the 50’s, as well as her passion for kimonos and antique japanese obis. A silent tribute to the great spanish high fashion master Paco Rabanne, who revolutionized Paris in the 70’s, along with his contemporaries André Courrèges and Yves Saint-Laurent.
The cultural centre, ‘La Cúpula Mérida’, presents her first Fashion Artwork, art to wear and uncover.
