Azul Maya Ch’oj

Escultor autodidacta, Luis May se torna hacia sus orígenes y plasma en sus esculturas de barro la estéKca maya, inspirándose de rostros que son, en sus propias palabras, “mayas clásicos y perfectos”. En esta exposición, el protagonista es el color, el Azul Maya que el arKsta logra obtener con las técnicas que uKlizaban los mayas del pasado, extrayendo la Knta del arbusto Ch’oj y mezclándolo con resinas, frutos y minerales que le permiten crear el pigmento. Es el resultado de años de invesKgación y dedicación por parte del arKsta.
