Bitácora representa los viajes del ser humano, tanto simbólicos como reales, plasmados en 27 lienzos de gran formato (2 metros de alto y más).

“Mi primer viaje imaginario fue sobre una sábana en la casa de mi abuela donde mi hermana y yo pretendíamos que volábamos en una alfombra mágica. Mexicali en ese tiempo era como Bagdad.”

Mesmerized by the intense heat and dust of the desert, David Serrano’s imagination took him on travels far beyond the border wall two blocks from his bedroom window. Serrano worked in Los Angeles prior to his journey to his new home in Merida in 2014. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Internationally. This is his first solo exhibition in Mexico
