Bárbara Archer

Barbara, ex galerista y curadora de museos, renovó su práctica cerámica aquí en México. Sus cerámicas escultóricas se centran en la forma y el color, y recientemente han presentado colores primarios intensos y saturados con un acabado de tinte en polvo. Su obra se ha exhibido en galerías de Estados Unidos y forma parte de la colección permanente del High Museum of Art de Atlanta, Georgia, entre otros museos estadounidenses.

Former gallery owner and museum curator, Barbara renewed her practice in ceramic arts here in Mexico. Her sculptural ceramics are devoted to form and color, most recently featuring bold saturated primary colors with a powdered stain finish. Her work has been exhibited by galleries in the U.S. and is featured in the permanent collection of the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA among other U.S. museums.
