CON DEMIÁN FLORES —esta vez acompañado po r Rodrigo Ímaz y Éric Carlos Bertrand—, tres años después de la exposición Hibridaciones junto a la reconocida artista francesa ORLAN, la Fundación la Cúpula retoma el diálogo sobre la transgresión de los mitos pre y poscoloniales.
Hoy, más allá de las herencias culturales, se trata de reinterpretarlas sin apropiación: de asimilarlas para favorecer una comprensión más profunda del “otro”, de sus códigos morales y sociales, ambos atemporales.
Entre Fronteras propone reflexionar sobre el pasaje entre mundos, no solo los de ayer y de hoy, sino también entre civilizaciones que dialogan —o no— y que comparten un mismo planeta. Tres artistas de herencia mexicana diversa ofrecen tres visiones cercanas y tres lenguajes complemen- tarios.
Paradójicamente, para abolir toda noción de temporalidad o de competencia “profética”, era necesario conceder a cada uno su propio espacio. Así, desplazándose de un universo a otro, el visitante llega aquí para concluir el indispensable y nutritivo diálogo.

DEMIÁN FLORES has invited Rodrigo Ímaz and Éric Carlos Bertrand —three years after the exhibition Hybridizations with renown French artist ORLAN— to resume the dialogue on the transgression of pre and post-colonial myths at the Fundación la Cúpula.
Today, beyond cultural heritages, it is all about reinterpreting those myths without appropriation. It is about assimilating them to foster a deeper understanding of the “other,” of timeless moral and social codes.
Between Borders reflects on the passage between past and present worlds, between civilizations that dialogue —or not— that share the same planet.
Demián Flores, Rodrigo Ímaz and Éric Carlos Bertrand, three Mexican artists of diverse heritage offering three close visions and three complementary languages. Therefore, to abolish any notion of temporality or “prophetic” competence, it was necessary to grant each his own space.
Thus, it is up to the visitor to move from one universe to another and to arrive here to close the indispensable, fruitful dialogue.
