Retrospectiva 1992 – 2015

Michel Maugée

04.02.16 – 05.03.16

This exhibition by Michel Maugée showcases 24 years of artistic work, starting from Le Retour de Jupiter: The Dawn Seen Through Your Bedroom Window—a painting created in his family home in Martinique—to his more recent pieces from 2015. Observing an artist’s evolution is always fascinating, and Michel Maugée’s journey is particularly meaningful as it offers a vivid portrayal of everyday life in Yucatán. This is evident in the pride of his collectors, many of whom cherish his works. The Cúpula Cultural Center extends its gratitude to everyone for their trust and support in making this iconic Yucatecan exhibition possible.
