Tuberías, fierros y botellas de vidrio del siglo pasado, componen las piezas de esta exposición, serie que de fondo trata más de un defecto que de una virtud de su creador (yo). A veces siento esa necesidad por escarbar el pasado, recuperarlo y manipularlo. Nostalgia es el nombre de la afectación al alma que me empuja a ciertas acciones inexplicables en un principio, acciones que se guían por el recuerdo hiriente en direcciones sin razón. Hace una década que comencé a seleccionar y guardar este material sin saber bien por qué lo hacía, solo sabía que debía tenerlo para el futuro.
Pipes, iron tubes and last century glass bottles make up this exhibition. A series that is more about the flaws than virtues of its creator (me). Sometimes I feel the need to dig out the past, retrieve it and manipulate it. Nostalgia is the name of the feeling in my soul that pushes me to certain inexplicable actions, actions guided by hurtful memories, going into many directions without reason. A decade ago I started to select and keep material without really knowing why, I just knew I should have it for the future.
